How­ev­er, the tick itself will not be tak­en for analy­sis in the emer­gency room — only 2 lab­o­ra­to­ries in Kyiv are engaged in this:

Recall that it is tech­ni­cal­ly pos­si­ble to check for the pres­ence of pathogens of seri­ous dis­eases only liv­ing insect.
