Medicine does not stand still, and every time different ways appear on the market that can help people get rid of a bad habit. Recently, however, scientists from the United States came to a stunning conclusion — today there is no effective way to quit smoking once and for all. This problem can be solved only by a person who has decided to get rid of nicotine addiction. Experts came to these results after an experiment in which 1086 smoking volunteers participated.
All participants were divided into three groups. The first group of people were offered to fight smoking with the help of an anti-nicotine patch, in the second group, participants took special pills with which they supposedly can quit smoking. Participants in a third group fought the habit with both anti-nicotine patches and pills.

This experiment continued for one year. All participants completed weekly special questionnaires, as well as blood tests, and the results were compared after 6 and 12 months.
It turned out that all the methods used are exactly the same in their effectiveness. One year after the study, 21% of the participants in the first group quit smoking, 19% of the second group and 20% of the third.
