How much food and drink to take?

  • The amount of food directly depends on the duration of your trip: you need to know exactly how many times you will eat. Do not forget that during walking or cycling, the amount of food, and especially drinks, increases commensurately with physical activity. In the future, the proportions are indicated on the basis of a single meal.
  • For a picnic by the fire with barbecue, one man will need 500 g of meat, for a woman — 300 g. For a change, it is better to take different types of meat.
  • Fish should be taken at the rate of 200–300 g per person.
  • Fresh vegetables and herbs — 200 g per person. They go well with dishes cooked on fire, improving the digestion process.
