Scientists have found that people who regularly consume sugary carbonated drinks can experience structural changes in the brain. The brain of soda drinkers is subject to changes that are observed in cancer patients or mentally ill people.

Such shocking conclusions were received by specialists from Australia. During the study, they used experimental rats, whose diet was introduced sweet water instead of regular. The result of the experiment turned out to be unhappy: the chemical composition of the brain changed in the animals and changes in the behavior of the animals appeared.

Scientists from America echo their Australian colleagues: according to them, several cans of sweet soda drunk in one day can cut life in half. The sugar contained in these drinks contributes to the formation of such a serious disease as diabetes, and also leads to problems in the functioning of the heart and liver. All these factors contribute to the reduction of life expectancy.

With the immoderate consumption of sweet waters, neither sports and physical activity, nor high-quality foods, which make up the main diet, can correct the situation.

Therefore, doctors and nutritionists constantly include soda in the list of unhealthy foods.
