Scientists from the University of Michigan have experimentally proven that during a shopping trip, most women experience a significant improvement in mood. Moreover, those of the visitors to the shopping centers who only looked at the displayed goods remained relatively calm, but the women who tried on clothes, shoes or jewelry felt three times happier.

Moreover, the researchers are confident that the state of a woman during shopping is comparable to sexual arousal. This was confirmed by an experiment in which one group of women went shopping, while the other watched an erotic tape. The devices recorded almost the same levels of arousal among shopaholics and cinephiles.

But doctors consider shopping one of the modern types of physical activity and recommend women not to give up shopping. Experts have calculated that in 3 hours of shopping a woman loses about 500 calories, and during the year she “winds” in shopping centers and markets an average of 154 km.

Experts advise women not to give up such a pleasant pastime as shopping, but they advise to follow the measure so that shopping trips do not replace other joys of life.
