If you use fresh red vibur­num berries every day, this will reduce swelling, as well as improve heart func­tion.

Kali­na can be stored for a long time if it is frozen. Thus, the prop­er­ties of vibur­num are pre­served. And pulling it out of the freez­er and dous­ing it with boil­ing water, you can always mix it with hon­ey, and a won­der­ful rem­e­dy for main­tain­ing immu­ni­ty is ready. Just one tea­spoon a day is enough.

Properties of viburnum in cosmetology

Cos­me­tol­o­gists have long cho­sen this red berry — it reju­ve­nates and tones the skin. Kali­na is ide­al for mak­ing masks for the face and neck.

So, if you have oily skin, mix vibur­num juice with egg white and lemon juice. And for dry skin, crush vibur­num berries with hon­ey, olive oil and oat­meal until creamy. You need to keep such masks for no more than 15 min­utes, then rinse off the mask and apply a mois­tur­iz­er on a clean face.

Red viburnum contraindications

First, every­thing needs a mea­sure. And the vibur­num berry is no excep­tion. Over­sat­u­ra­tion of the body with vibur­num can lead to a rash on the body.

Sec­ond­ly, if you have increased blood clot­ting, and also have a ten­den­cy to throm­bo­sis, you should avoid exces­sive con­sump­tion of vibur­num.

Third­ly, vibur­num low­ers blood pres­sure. So if yours is low, you should give up berries, as this can be fraught with faint­ing.
