How to choose quality milk

Accord­ing to sta­tis­tics, Ukraini­ans begin to active­ly con­sume milk in autumn, because it is a source of vit­a­mins. It is dur­ing this peri­od that sales increase, but, unfor­tu­nate­ly, the num­ber of cas­es of poi­son­ing in hos­pi­tals also increas­es. How to choose high-qual­i­ty and healthy milk was told by the tech­nol­o­gist and expert of Good Sign Andrey Babaev on the air of the pro­gram “Every­thing will be kind” on STB.

When choos­ing milk in a refrig­er­at­ed dis­play case, care­ful­ly look at the label­ing on the pack­ag­ing, the man­u­fac­tur­er must nec­es­sar­i­ly issue an inscrip­tion that will help you under­stand — what is in front of you — milk, a dairy prod­uct or a milk-con­tain­ing prod­uct. It depends on how you will use this milk. Also pay atten­tion to the pack­ag­ing of milk, it is bet­ter to buy in glass and card­board pack­ages, since milk spoils faster in poly­eth­yl­ene. Increas­ing­ly, there are for­ti­fied dairy prod­ucts with use­ful addi­tives: “for­ti­fied milk”, “milk enriched with vit­a­min C, cal­ci­um”, “milk with lac­tu­lose”.

In my opin­ion, it is these dairy prod­ucts that should be pre­ferred. Since the addi­tion­al intro­duc­tion of essen­tial nutri­ents into milk, which are lack­ing in our body, helps to solve not only the prob­lem of their defi­cien­cy, but with reg­u­lar use improves our health.

In addi­tion, the “Good sign” can become an addi­tion­al cri­te­ri­on for you when choos­ing prod­ucts. The “good mark” on the pack­ag­ing means that the prod­uct has been test­ed in Euro­pean accred­it­ed lab­o­ra­to­ries and has passed an inde­pen­dent qual­i­ty and safe­ty con­trol sys­tem. As an exam­ple, for the sec­ond year in a row, milk of TM “Bila liniya” was award­ed the “Good sign”.
