Citizen Day, as a global initiative of the L’Oreal Group, was founded in 2010 and is timed to coincide with the company’s 100th anniversary (2009). Throughout the years, this Day represents the commitment of the cosmetics company, when employees around the world come together to participate in social activities based on 4 main principles — Beauty, Diversity, Science and Environment, in order to change society for the better. This is the company’s contribution to achieve the main goal — to make the world more beautiful.

This year, about 180 employees of the Ukrainian branch devoted this day to socially useful deeds. Several buses delivered the company’s employees, along with guests, representatives of the press, to the village of Glebovka, where everyone could choose one of 3 activities — helping the elderly in their homes and yards, arranging a playground or helping on the school territory — they painted fences, cleaned the territory, helped at home.
