For the benefit of women | Women’s magazine “Lisa”

Every woman has the right to qual­i­ty health care. How­ev­er, unfor­tu­nate­ly, not every­one in our coun­try can exer­cise this right.

The BIOKON com­pa­ny has been try­ing to change the sit­u­a­tion for sev­er­al years. From 2013 to the present, she has been imple­ment­ing a large-scale project “BIOKON for Wom­en’s Health”, pro­vid­ing tar­get­ed finan­cial assis­tance to Ukrain­ian gyne­colo­gies and ante­na­tal clin­ics.

Thanks to the efforts of the com­pa­ny, over the three years of the pro­gram, 57 med­ical insti­tu­tions in all regions of Ukraine received assis­tance from BIOKON. Among the donat­ed equip­ment: elec­tro­sur­gi­cal coag­u­la­tors for the treat­ment of patholo­gies in women, gyne­co­log­i­cal chairs, a col­po­scope, med­i­cines and sur­gi­cal instru­ments.

Despite the fact that the BIOKON for Wom­en’s Health pro­gram was orig­i­nal­ly designed for three years, the com­pa­ny’s man­age­ment decid­ed to con­tin­ue it in 2016. At the end of Jan­u­ary, sur­gi­cal instru­ments and tonome­ters were hand­ed over at the Zhi­dachesky Cen­tral Dis­trict Hos­pi­tal of the Lviv region.
